Center Pivot

Center pivot refers to the pipeline installed with spray nozzle on an automatic traveling bracket and a large sprinkling irrigation machinery that can carry out irrigation while rotating around a central point equipped with water supply system. As the way of its traveling likes the same of a clock's pointer, so there comes its name. The maximum irrigation radius is 300m, and the rotating speed of the pointer is adjustable. Elion has installed dozens of center pivots at Jixiang Farmstead, and each can irrigate 500 mu land. Saving water, improving crop output, saving labor and protecting crops from wind and sand damages are its advantages.

Micro Spray Irrigation Technology

The micro spray irrigation technology is divided into two types: one with micro-sprinkling belt and the other with rotating sprinkler. Generally, this technology is applied in the spray irrigation of crops. The spraying effect is like a drizzle, dense and even, which can ensure the irrigation water is distributed evenly and improve the water efficiency in field. This technology plays a significant role in yield improving and water saving in irrigation of field food crops and industrial crops, such as wheat and grape, as well as facility agriculture.

Drip Irrigation Technology

The drip irrigation is a kind of water irrigation method that the water with certain pressure slowly and evenly drops into the soil in the vicinity of plant root in the form of water drop via pipe network and water outflow pipeline (drip irrigation belt) after filtering. Drip irrigation is one of the most water-saving irrigation technologies so far.

Infiltration Irrigation Technology

Infiltration irrigation, i.e., underground irrigation, is an irrigation method with the aid of soil capillary action in which underground pipeline is used to transport the irrigation water to the seepage pipeline buried in fields at a certain depth underground. Infiltration irrigation mainly includes subsurface irrigation by groundwater and irrigation by buried seepage pipes the two types.

PV Pumping Irrigation Technology

PV pumping is a technology through which the radiant energy of the sun is converted into electric energy, and then the electric energy is used to drive water pump to achieve the effect of water raising. The solar PV pumping system is a green and environment-friendly water supply device. Woringk from sunrise to sunset, it is extremely economical, flexible, automatic, free from energy consumption and requires no personnel attendance.

Bitter Saltwater Treatment and Application

Due to restriction of bitter salt water, Taklimakan Desert is recognized as ungovernable desert worldwide. 480 m3/ day bitter salt water utilization test system implemented by ELION Group in Alear of Xinjiang has been tested on pilot scale and succeed already, with about 70-80% for water outflow rate for desalted water and 20-30% for high-concentration salt water (degree of mineralization: 18.4-23g/L). It solves the fundamental restriction on governing for Taklimakan Desert from water source, and can provide the high-quality potable water for the masses in the desert region and the agricultural water for facilities.
